Research & Industry Advisory Board (RIAB) Holds First Meeting

The CSC RIAB held its first meeting on April 28, 2008 at the Technology Transfer Center in Shreveport, LA. The mission of this board is:

To review and advise the CSC leaders on overall progress in fulfilling the center's research and technology transfer goals.
Ensure effective cross-institutional and industrial partner interactions.
Advise the CSC leaders of relevant research needs and opportunities.
Serve as a resource for industrial applications of the research program.
Assist in the establishment of partnerships with industry, government organizations and other academic institutions.
Provide input into the relevant educational needs for academia, the military and the private sector.
